This Java applet should allow you to establish a secure, encrypted connection to fuzzy.math.ucdavis.edu via SSH. Please wait while the Java applet is downloaded and started; this may take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes depending on the speed of your network connection. A new window will open once the applet is running.

Setup:

• You may receive a message similar to "MindTerm home directory:... does not exist, create it?" Go ahead and click "Yes" to allow it to do so. It is not a requirement, so you may also click "No" here with no ill effects.
• Enter your username and password.

Troubleshooting:

• If nothing happens, you may need to install and/or enable Java in your browser.
• If the applet does not load correctly (i.e. only a blank window with menus is displayed), you should upgrade your JRE. See links below.
• If your SSH connection hangs, try leaving this browser window open and on this page; some browsers kill or halt the applet if you leave the page which started it.
• Note that your SSH session *will* be terminated if you exit from your web browser.
